Sarah Statler
Sarah Statler, originally from San Jose, California, grew up studying theater, voice and piano. After moving to New York, she graduated from Manhattan School of Music with a BM in voice. During her time there, she was a recipient of the ASCAP Foundation’s Fran Morgenstern Davis Scholarship. As a singer/actor, she recently finished touring with the 2nd national tour of “Anastasia” (Ensemble, u/s Dowager Empress). Regional theater credits include: “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” (John W. Engeman Theater, The Fireside Dinner Theatre & Timber Lake Playhouse), “Indecent” (Arden Theatre Company), Bernstein’s “Mass” (The Virginia Arts Festival), as well as various productions at Busch Gardens, VA where she covered multiple roles as a vocal swing. As a pianist, she has played piano in the orchestra pit for various shows including “West Side Story” (The Palace Theatre, New Hampshire), “Into the Woods”, “Aida” (CMTSJ) & other various original works in NYC.
Sarah has also worked as a vocal/music director for productions including “The Addams Family Young@Part” (Broadway Workshop), “Beauty & the Beast Jr.”, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” (Center Stage Theatre Company), “Jesus Christ Superstar” & “Side Show” (The Children’s Musical Theater of San Jose).
