Lauren Horgan

Lauren Horgan is a Cuban/Irish actress, singer, dancer, and multifaceted creator. Born and raised in Miami, FL, Lauren received her BA in Theatre from Florida International University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in school, she began working professionally at the age of 19 at multiple regional theatres across South Florida. Most notably, Lauren was on the 2nd National Tour of On Your Feet! as Rebecca Fajardo/Gloria Estefan u/s. Lauren recently made her NYC debut Off Bway in Dune: The Dunesical (Theatre for the New City). She has also been a featured vocalist at Joe’s Pub at The Public Theatre (The Evolution of Mimi and Con C De Cuba!) Other regional credits include: Rent (Theatre Aspen), Jersey Boys, On Your Feet! Mamma Mia, (Actors’ Playhouse), Cabaret (Zoetic Stage). When not performing on stage Lauren can be seen on the creative team as an Associate Choreographer for The Bodyguard (Slow Burn Theatre) and Fiddler on the Roof (Zoetic Stage). Lauren is a firm believer in cultivating spaces where creativity and freedom of expression is at the forefront of the learning experience.
