Emily Jackoway is a New York-based actor, writer, and educator. She holds a BFA in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Experimental Theater Wing and The Classical Studio. She has experience teaching theater, movement, and improvisation for ages 2 to 12, and is passionate about teaching young artists to use theater as a tool for empathy and communication. When not performing or teaching, Emily also works with literary education website NoSweatShakespeare, hosting their podcast and sharing theater with students of all ages. Recent credits include Anne of Green Gables (Inkblot Theater Co), The Medea of Euripides (Theater for the New City), Measure for Measure (The Classical Studio).
