Chidube Egbo

Chidube Egbo is an actor, playwright, and teaching artist based in Brooklyn. Born and raised in Hillsboro, Oregon, he received his BFA in acting from Syracuse University. Since then he has gone on to act in productions of As You Like It, Chicken & Biscuits, Sanctuary City, and more. He has taught playwriting, acting, and Shakespeare across the country. As an artist and teacher he has had the pleasure of working with MCC, Portland Center Stage, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Portland Playhouse, Artist Repertory Theater, Gulfshore Playhouse, and Oregon Children’s Theatre in addition to several newer companies. When not teaching, Chidube enjoys watching classic movies and cooking.
