Alla Ilyasova

Alla Ilyasova is a long-time educator, and a graduate of the Actors Studio Drama School MFA Playwriting program. Her work has been produced for the New York International Fringe Festival (Svetlyachki) and presented at Dixon Place (Other Planet Hearts). She’s performed in various productions and staged readings in NYC, at the Wyoming Theatre Festival, and Guild Hall; assisted John Christopher Jones on his translations for Classic Stage Company (The Cherry Orchard, A Month in the Country); clowned around with The Gadflyz; and taught preschool at the Vanderbilt Y. Alla loves playing make-believe with Child’s Play NY, and treasures her time with the company’s tiniest (and mightiest) storytellers.
