Camp Zootopia for PreK-1st
Improvaganza for 2nd-5th Grades

Campers in PreK-1st can join us for a rollicking adventure in the Mammal Metropolis of Zootopia, where sleuthing, teamwork, and imagination take centerstage. As our favorite animal alter egos, campers will help Nick and Judy crack the case of a mysterious reptilian invasion while adding their own twists and turns to the story through improv and theater games.

In this dynamic improv camp, campers in 2nd-5th grade learn the tools to think on their feet, listen and respond with wit, and be creative in the moment. We start each class with warm-ups, shaking out inhibitions, and then we move into games that foster collaboration. Finally we work toward a fully realized (and funny!) final show – no script necessary! Campers get practice being spontaneous, collaborative and hilarious while making something they can be proud of. Improvisation is not only a great part of the actor’s toolbox, it is a powerful social skill that gets kids trusting their instincts, shifting perspective, and most importantly having fun!
