Jump into character before you Trick-or-Treat in this lively Halloween-themed theater class. We’ll embrace the fun and funny side of the holiday with interactive games that get us exploring our character’s personalities, how they walk, talk and even eat! With lots of creative movement and storytelling and a Halloween craft, this class is a super exciting prequel to October 31st! Come in costume, leave in character.

Proceeds will be donated to the Manna-hatta Fund to support the American Indian Community House, a not-for-profit organization serving the health, social service, and cultural needs of Native Americans residing in New York City.

Walk through a magical door and find your own Encanto in this joyous musical camp. Theater games and improvs will have us becoming enchanted parts of the Madrigal house, playing “sneaky tag” through Bruno’s Tower and healing ailments with delicious concoctions! Encanto music will underscore our playing and we will learn choreography and vocal techniques to bring the songs to life.

Students will bravely go “Into the Unknown” in this musical theater class that will have them singing and dancing their way into winter! Drawing inspiration from the original Snow Queen fairy tale as well as the popular films, kids will generate their own original story. Theater games and improvs will have them racing reindeer, getting lost (and found!) in the woods, building snowmen and belting out loud to unite the kingdoms!

Calling all Wizards, Witches and Fantastic Beasts! Join us as we use theater and storytelling to explore enchanted realms and magical creatures. Campers hone their improvisation and writing skills as they create an original story-quest! We’ll make spell books, wands and potions and go to Wizarding school.

In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun, and – SNAP – the job’s a game! Pack your valise and umbrella and join us as we soar with Mary Poppins and the Banks children.  We’ll step into our chalk paintings to go on a magical adventure, make our very own kite to fly, step in time with the chimney sweeps, and have a supercalifragilistic time learning songs and dances from the beloved classic!

The spinning treehouse is off on adventures so hop aboard with Jack and Annie! We’ll go back in time to the land of knights and dinosaurs, and even venture, to the deep sea and outerspace! We’ll learn songs from the Magic Treehouse musicals too. Merlin’s missions await!

Students explore their bravery, magic, and mischief the Roald Dahl way. In this session we will learn stories and songs from two Roald Dahl classics: James & the Giant Peach and Matilda. Students will learn vocal technique and use improv to create their own stories, as well as how to create a character from a place of instinct and play. Come get a little bit naughty with these kid heroes!

Campers can enroll in one or all days. Every day will have a different focus and new stories.
Camp Mon, April 22-Fri, Apr 26 will meet at 232 Carroll Street from 9a-3p. Cost is $125/day.
Camp Mon, Apr 29 and Tues, Apr 30 will meet at 193 Columbia Street from 9a-2:30p. Cost is $115/day.

The hills are alive with the sound of music! Become your favorite Von Trapp kid and tell us about your “Favorite Things”. Jump on your bike and learn to sing with Do-Re-Mi all around the beautiful countryside! We will make our own marionettes and do a “Lonely Goatherd” puppet show.  Kids climb every mountain with confidence and joy in this day camp.

Come sing and dance to the rhythm of the pride lands! The savannah comes to life as students play as animals, birds, fish and insects as they work toward an original re-telling of the Lion King! As the “cubs” go on a thrilling quest for the crown they’ll learn musical theater skills including vocal warmups and choreography.
