Michael Kane – Teaching Artist

Michael Patrick Kane is a professional actor, Puppet designer, teaching artist who lives in Bushwick. He holds an MFA in acting from The Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University. He has performed and taught in numerous regional theaters/programs across the country including: The American Repertory Theater, The Moscow Art Theater (Russia), The Denver Centers-Living History outreach program, The Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Denver Children’s Theater, The School of Cinema and Performing Arts (New York based Summer camp), Montana Shakespeare in the Schools and Parks, Bread and Puppet Theater. He recently designed puppets for a production of Hansel and Gretel at the East Harlem Tutorial Program and is in the Robert Downey Jr. film “The Judge”.
